Leadership
Chris DiLoreto, Founding Principal, leads the design work within the firm. For over forty years, Chris' career has focused on the master planning, design, and implementation of a wide ranging body of work, from campus master plans to small renovations. In 1987 he developed the discovery™ information gathering process in response to the belief that all constituents—staff, members, neighbors, public officials and sponsors—deserve the opportunity to share their project desires. A firm believer that a strong collaborative process leads to the most successful architectural solutions, Chris cultivates an office that enthusiastically works to translate client goals into innovative and thoughtful building environments.
Tracy Orvis, Director, LEED® Accredited Professional leads our adaptive reuse department. She is a registered architect and has been with diloretoARCH since 2005. Tracy has a unique sensitivity to historical buildings and a respected capacity to listen to what an existing architecture needs to be renewed to a useful present without discarding its past. She places a high premium on listening and communication which has led to her own direction of our Discovery workshops. Tracy’s work includes the much lauded Leftbank Building in NE Portland and the recently completed Full Sail Brewing extension. Tracy graduated with a B.Arch from the University of Oregon.
Stephanie Fitzhugh, Associate Director, LEED® Accredited Professional, is our lead project manager and the embodiment of our firm’s philosophy of client-focused architecture. Since joining diloretoARCH in 2006 she has built upon our founding tenet of client/designer collaboration and now directs many of our Discovery Workshops. Over the course of her more then 20 years of practice, Stephanie has accrued the poise and tenacity needed to solve the complex issues that arise in many-partied projects. Her grasp on what is wanted and needed translates to efficient design, engaged consultants, and on-time projects. She received her B.Arch from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
Chris LoNigro, Associate Director, has been practicing architecture for more then 20 years and has been a lead designer at diloretoARCH since 2005. He has taken lead on the Manhattan Beach Condominiums in Rockaway, Oregon and most recently St. Joseph the Worker Church in SE Portland. We rely upon Chris’ exceptional understanding of how a building will exist within its environment. His grasp of the important facets, interactions, and organization of space on a site plan has made him an invaluable ground-up designer. Chris was raised in St. Louis, Missouri and received his B.Arch from the University of Kansas.
